I found the room to be well-furnished and clean. It included everything needed. the staff were very friendly and helpful. my experience was first class throughout. i also appreciated the convenient location near tram lines, made getting around the city easy.

During check-in, a $50 deposit was taken, and i have yet to receive the reimbursement months later! contacting the international line provided no resolution. I advise paying the deposit in cash.

the hotel lobby decor displayed an amazing vibe. i loved that public transport and shops were nearby. the staff helped us move to another room when the hot water malfunctioned (a small glitch!) and offered free breakfast.

The room lacked translucent curtains, it really affected the light during daytime. i'd love to see this fixed in future visits. Sometimes you just want soft light.

The location near the southern cross station was super convenient, especially with the sky bus to the airport! the free tram zone made getting around to all the tourist spots easy. I loved how central it all felt. my room had automatic blinds, a really nice touch, and the bed was comfy. the gym access was a huge plus. It's so nice to have a great workout space close by.

the minibar didn't have as many options as i would have liked.

The restaurant situation was disappointing. I arrived at 9:15 PM and was told the kitchen closed soon. I rushed to order room service via a QR code, it only showed beverages. Eventually, staff agreed to order for me after I demonstrated the problem. The restaurant closed on Sunday. I found this unusual for an IHG hotel and an inconvenience.
